Beauty Soufflé

Aproximately a week ago autumn has officially arrived, bringing beautiful weather, crispy mornings and amazing colours all around. Of course I couldn't resist but take part to the autumn magic atmosphere..and what else can better embody autumn than a bold dark lip?  I love wearing bold lips all year round because I think it suits my face and also because, if the eye makeup is simple, a bold lip could easily be worn as a daily makeup without feeling overdone. Whilst in the warmer months I tend to go for brighter colours, in the colder months my colour palette tends towards earthy tones like burgundy, browns, beiges, dark reds, etc. So, if you want to recreate a similar look, my advice is to go minimal on the eye makeup with just the mascara and let the focus be on the lips, otherwise you risk to have too much going on. Today I'm coming with a review on a product that I keep searching for whenever I do my makeup, wheter it's on me or my clients.  Especially If I am needing a very quick and easy makeup look, but still luminous and long lasting (ok, when I can't be bothered doing my makeup..) undoubtedly I'm gonna reach out for these babies:  The CHANEL Ombre d'Eau Eyeshadows .  As the name suggests, they have a texture that is so light and silky that it resembles water!  The consistency is indeed watery and the product needs to be well shaken before use in order to mix the pigment and the water base. I actually own 3 of these eyeshadows but my obsession for them is clearly suggesting me to buy some more. They feel like nothing I have ever experienced with other similar products: other cream eyeshadows I've used generally have a creamy consistency, like butter or mousse. Hello lovelies! The past week I've been quite buzy and unfortunately I haven't been able to post as often as I wished to. I have so many ideas, makeup looks I want to create and topics I want to cover! I can't wait to share them with you all :) Today I had my morning off from work, so I thought why not to play with some makeup and see what I end up with? :D I didn't had something clear in mind, I just went with the flow and improvise with the colours.  I found an old MAC eyeshadow, swatched it and fell in love with it..I am so happy with how this turned out, even though I can never figure out how to properly pick out the true colours of my makeup with the camera.  As autumn is approaching, colder months call for a change of season in our wardrobes.  We have to say goodbye to bikinis, floaty dresses and sandals and welcome boots, cozy knits and jackets.  Autumn is my favourite season fashion-wise. I feel more confident in my body, I can experiment more with layers and textures and unleash my creativity.  That's why when colder weather knocks, I'm more than happy to open :)  Here are the steps I take (and recommend) in order to renew your wardrobe in an efficient way.   1) CREATE THE ATMOSPHERE Cleaning out the closet requires time. Take a day off without friends, boyfriend and appointments in order to have time to  think about every item. Put on some music background and start. Autumn is finally approaching and it is one of my favourite seasons:)  I can already picture myself wearing cozy knits and boots, reading a book while sipping a cup of tea, listening to the pouring rain..aaahhh I just can't wait! Hello guys! I must admit I really enjoyed doing my makeup for the last post and you seem to enjoy that kind of post as well..so today I decided to make another makeup look, hoping that you will love it as much as I do.  This makeup look is really classic, the one and only SMOKEY EYE! I really like doing it in many colour variations, from brown to purple or even burgundy, but today, since is the first smokey I do on the blog, I decided to go for a more sober colour and then, in the future, I will surely create something more colourful as well.  This kind of makeup look is not that hard to recreate, even though it must appear intimidating for someone who is just approaching makeup. I've been thinking many times about trying to recrete someone's makeup, especially celebrity ones, but never really did it just because I always forget! When I have to do my own makeup I'm usually in a rush so I tend to create something at the moment, depending on how much time I have and what I feel like wearing.  Some days I just feel like mascara and a gloss, whilst sometimes I need some heavy duty makeup ALL ON MA' FACE :D Today, since I had some spare time, I decided to recreate Katy Perry's VMA 2017 makeup, done on her by the amazing celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo.
