MAKEUP REVOLUTION "Fortune favours the brave" palette - Review

Hello hello beautiful people! Long time no seeing! It's been more than a month since I last posted here on the blog and I missed it so much. Unfortunately..as writers do, bloggers sometimes lack inspiration as well. I didn't feel ispired and creative, everything I was trying to write about seemed trivial and unauthentic and I just didn't want to fill my blog with posts that weren't 100% conceived to be useful for you.
I want this blog to be a place where people can read about topics I am really passionate about, and of which I give my most sincere and trustworthy opinion.

Today I'm coming with a review on a product I've been testing out the past few weeks:
The MAKEUP REVOLUTION "FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE" eyeshadow palette.
This is the first product I've ever used from this brand. I kept seeing this palette all over Instagram and I was very drawn to its colours and finally decided to buy it.
This is a palette that is available online only and I ordered mine from Amazon for 14.99€ with free shipping.
The price point it's very convenient considering you are getting 30 eyeshadow colours!

But let's start from the beginning.
First of all the palette came really well wrapped and was intact when I opened it.
The packaging it's simple but pretty and compact. It comes with a mirror (which is always a bonus for me) and a double ended brush with a flat side and a fluffy side for blending. I didn't use the brush though because I'm way to keen on using mine..but for those of you who don't have tons of makeup brushes, it surely comes very handy.
The palette comes with a total of 30 colours consisting of matte, glimmer and sheen finishes.
The variety of colours, going from neutrals, browns, bronzy, violets and greens make it a very versatile palette, ideal both for day and night makeup looks.

Even though the matte colours are buildable and perfect to be used as transitional colours in the crease, they tend to have fall outs and less pigmentation.
The other colours, with sheen and glitter finishes, are buttery and very pigmented. I especially love the bronzy/coppery ones. The only eyeshadow that was totally disappointing was SKYLIGHT because has almost no pigmentation and I really had to dig in it to pick up some colour.
The durability is pretty good for those who use the palette for personal use. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for professional makeup artists because at the end of the day the colours tend to shade. I would recommend using a primer if you want to extend its durability.
Here are the swatches, starting from the top row.

I took this palette on vacation and put it to the test. I didn't have any other eyeshadows with me and this was just enough for me. I managed to achieve natural day makeups and more intense night looks. The mirror was very useful because I could put my makeup near a window with natural light.
Another big big bonus, at least from my point of view, is that this is a VEGAN and CRUELTY FREE palette. Very happy to support brands who care for animals' safety.

In conclusion..Would I reccomend this palette? Yes I would recommend it for personal use. I think you can get a lot of use out of it thanks to the variety of beautiful colours and it's very practical. And for 15€ honestly you can't ask for more.

Did you guys have this palette? Or would you try it? Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on it.
In the next post I will be coming with some makeup looks using this palette so STAY TUNED!

xoxo, Antonia :)
