ZEIN Herbal Tea - Review

Immagine
Hello lovelies!  Today I'm going to write something I would never thought to review on this blog, simply because I never believed in all those "miracle" teas that claim to make you lose pounds and pounds just by drinking it. Because that's not reality. A month ago I got in touch with ZEIN, a romanian brand which sells this natural herbal tea which claims to regulate metabolism, reduce appetite and detoxify your body. They kindly sent me a package of their tea in order to try it and see what I think about it.  First of all the tea comes in a 100gr package and in loose form: you simply have to let it in infusion for 5 minutes in boiling water.  It is a complete natural tea which contains chamomile flowers, fenel seed, viola flowers, rose and balm petals and rhubarb leaves. Smell and taste are really pleasant and subtle. I usually had a cup in the morning and one in the evening, as indicated on the instructions, before the meal. I must admit I wasn...

CATRICE HD Liquid Coverage foundation+concelear REVIEW

Immagine
Happy Tuesday everyone!  Today I decided to review two products I've been testing for the last month or so and which have been hyped so much on the blogosphere. I'm talking about the CATRICE Hd Liquid Coverage foundation and the Liquid Camouflage high coverage concelear . Everyone was talking about the foundation in particular but when I saw that they had a concelear as well, I decided to try them both. First of all they are drugstore products, therefore they are really affordable. I bought both products in store and paid 8€ for the foundation and 3,50 or 4€ for the concelear. I tried to capture how the products looked on my skin and hopefully you can see how they show in pictures. Everyone on the internet was raving about this foundation, claiming that it had a very natural finish and a good durability. Let's see my thoughts on it.  THE FOUNDATION: 020 ROSE BEIGE Comes in a glass bottle with a pipette (which I find really simple to use and per...

MAKEUP REVOLUTION "Fortune favours the brave" palette - Review

Immagine
Hello hello beautiful people! Long time no seeing! It's been more than a month since I last posted here on the blog and I missed it so much. Unfortunately..as writers do, bloggers sometimes lack inspiration as well. I didn't feel ispired and creative, everything I was trying to write about seemed trivial and unauthentic and I just didn't want to fill my blog with posts that weren't 100% conceived to be useful for you.  I want this blog to be a place where people can read about topics I am really passionate about, and of which I give my most sincere and trustworthy opinion. Today I'm coming with a review on a product I've been testing out the past few weeks: The MAKEUP REVOLUTION " FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE " eyeshadow palette.  This is the first product I've ever used from this brand. I kept seeing this palette all over Instagram and I was very drawn to its colours and finally decided to buy it. This is a palette that is available ...

CHANEL Ombre d'Eau Eyeshadows - Review

Immagine
Today I'm coming with a review on a product that I keep searching for whenever I do my makeup, wheter it's on me or my clients.  Especially If I am needing a very quick and easy makeup look, but still luminous and long lasting (ok, when I can't be bothered doing my makeup..) undoubtedly I'm gonna reach out for these babies:  The CHANEL Ombre d'Eau Eyeshadows .  As the name suggests, they have a texture that is so light and silky that it resembles water!  The consistency is indeed watery and the product needs to be well shaken before use in order to mix the pigment and the water base. I actually own 3 of these eyeshadows but my obsession for them is clearly suggesting me to buy some more. They feel like nothing I have ever experienced with other similar products: other cream eyeshadows I've used generally have a creamy consistency, like butter or mousse. These ones instead are water!  What I love most about them is the ease of application: yo...

Summer Favourites Round-up :)

Immagine
Autumn is finally approaching and it is one of my favourite seasons:)  I can already picture myself wearing cozy knits and boots, reading a book while sipping a cup of tea, listening to the pouring rain..aaahhh I just can't wait! But, since up to the 21st of september we are technically still in summer, I thought it was just the right time to write a post about some staple products which have accompanied me during the hot months.   Let's begin with what I love the most, makeup: KRYOLAN TRIO HIGHLIGHTER PALETTE: I don't have the specific name for this one because I received it at a course I attempted last december and I can't find the exact same one on their website. They have the same colours in a 8 highlighter palette that you can check here. I really want my skin, especially during the summer period, to look healthy and glowy but in a nice, subtle way. I don't enjoy those "in the face" highlighter lines that are so on trend right now: to...

3 ZOELLA PRODUCTS - REVIEW

Immagine
Maybe you guys still don't know, but I'm the perfect example of what a sucker for nice packaging means: if something has a nice packaging, there's a very high percentage of probability of me buying it, even if it contains sh*t.. That's the first thing that intrigued me about Zoella's beauty products: they are objectively VERY PRETTY.  I love each and every single product design I see online, but for now I've just tried 3 products, which I'm going to tell you more about. Maybe I should add that ZOELLA, for those of you who don't know or aren't devoted Youtube users, is a youtube star, has almost 12 billion subscribers on her channel, 3 books, a beauty and a lifestyle range, etc.. In short words she is very popular on the web and, since her products aren't available where I live, a friend of mine who lives in England kindly gifted them to me, so I could try them.   So let's begin, shall we? THE BATH LATTE Can we just tak...

KIKO Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow - REVIEW

Immagine
Today I wanted to bring you a review on the KIKO Cream Crush Lasting Colour Eyeshadow.  As you may know, KIKO is an Italian makeup brand which has a wide variety of makeup and skincare at very affordable prices. It is known to have an excellent value for money and it's becoming more and more popular in the makeup industry, at the level of many other popular brands.  This cream eyeshadow range has 16 shades to choose from and I own 3 of them, the colours I thought I'd use the most. The eyeshadow's formula is very creamy, silky to the touch. They blend like a dream, the pigmentation is really nice and buildable and once they set on the eyelid, they last for a very long time. On the KIKO website they claim that the product lasts up to 10 hours: I dindn't try them for as long because I never stay with makeup on for so many hours, but I can surely tell that they last  pretty well for 5-6 hours. To apply the product I usually use a flat brush (just because I pe...

My current makeup favs

Immagine
Trying new makeup products is my favourite thing in the entire world!  This is one of the reasons I decided to start a blog. I like sharing things I love but, sharing my negative experiences as well will hopefully help some of you in choosing the right products.  Today I'm gonna share with you some makeup products I keep coming back to, no matter what. Hope you enjoy them, let me know which are your favourites as well :) BASE - Blanc Universel de Chanel Sheer Illuminator This product unfortunately has been discontinued and replaced by Blanc universal base (which I haven't tried). I really like it because, especially on hot summer days, it makes my makeup last so much longer and my skin looks like porcelain. Has a very nice subtle scent.   FOUNDATION - LANCOME TEINT IDOLE ULTRA  I like this foundation because it glides on the skin, it's so easy to blend with a kabuki brush when I don't have much time and has a nice glowing finish which makes my s...

AVEDA Enbrightenment skincare range

Immagine
Today I wanted to bring you my review on the AVEDA Enbrightenment skincare range. Actually I just have the sample sizes of the products, but since I've already seen results just by using them, I decided to share with you my opinion. This range is supposed to brighten and even the skin tone as well as increasing surface cell turnover. I started to use these products about 2 weeks ago just at night and I was very pleasantly surprised by the results: I wasn't expecting them to show as quickly as they did but these products are really good! I have normal skin with a slightly oilier nose at times, especially if I wear makeup for a long time during the day. My issue has always been hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone around the nose and lips area. I always had a red nose with slightly large pores and yellowish color around the lips so I decided to try and fix the problem. First of all I use the AVEDA Brightening cleanser to remove impurities and clean the skin. If...

Nude obsession!

Immagine
Lately there's been this crazy trend going around about nudes..from makeup, to fashion and even house decor. I usually don't follow trends but this one makes everything look so simple, yet chic and ageless that I couldn't resist. Almost every makeup brand I know has a range dedicated to nude lipsticks, from the well-known Kyle Cosmetics to Dose of Colours, NYX and Huda Beauty. Here are my favourite makeup NUDES: I usually tend to gravitate towards this neutral colours when I have a good skin period and I just want something quick and easy. Feel free to comment the post and share your favourite nudes too! 1) For a very light base, perfect for the summer weather and when my skin is acting well, I use the Bobbi Brown  Extra Tinted Moisturizing Balm SPF25 . Very (and I mean VERY) lightweight foundation, a bb cream really, recommended for very dry skin. Emollient and extremely moisturazing, I would say it's a skincare product rather than a makeup one. I us...
